Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams on technical solutions, releases, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.

What you'll do

• Analyse user requirements and define technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable code.
• Test, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and fix defects.
• Follow software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
• Support product releases and ongoing maintenance.
• Troubleshoot program-related challenges with internal teams.

What you'll need

• 6–8 years of hands-on software design and development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 8+ and J2EE.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Experience with Oracle Database 19C, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SQL, database design, and database tuning.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, caching technologies, and messaging platforms such as MQ or Kafka.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, coding, communication, and prioritisation skills.

Nice to have

• Azure experience.
• PostgreSQL experience.
• Cross-border payments experience in the financial industry.
