Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Join the Wells AI Global Build squad as a full stack developer supporting the bp Wells organization by deploying AI agents at scale. As you gain business context and deployment expertise, you will take over as lead developer for one or more agents delivered to customer requirements and team processes and protocols.

What you'll do

• Help the existing team deploy the current year scope as a full stack developer.
• Take over as lead developer for one or more agents as further business context, expertise and deployments are covered.
• Deliver agents to customer requirements and team processes and protocols.
• Deploy AI agents at scale for the bp Wells organization.

What you'll need

• Strong knowledge of Python.
• OpenAI LLM experience.
• Experience with agentic frameworks such as Langraph, Langchain, and Temporal.
• Knowledge of agent orchestration using a2a.
• Experience developing web APIs using Fast APIs.
• Knowledge of RAG architecture.
• Experience with Azure services like Search, web apps, function apps, and Data Services.
• Experience building web UI using React.
• Exposure to data engineering pipelines using Databricks and ADF.
• Proficiency in writing clean, modular code and using Git to manage changes and collaborate with a team.
• Mastery of Docker to package applications, ensuring they run consistently across development, testing, and production environments.
• Understanding of how to design APIs for communication and manage databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to catch bugs early and deploy software reliably.
