Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer role building scalable, high-performance web applications using React.js and Node.js. You’ll also use AI-assisted development tools to generate, test, debug, and review code while maintaining engineering judgment and code quality.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and Node.js.
• Build reusable, maintainable, high-performance React components and integrate them with backend APIs.
• Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, and business logic using Node.js.
• Implement authentication, authorization, security, and data validation.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews, write tests, document solutions, and troubleshoot/debug production issues.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and mentor junior developers.

What you'll need

• 6–7 years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of strong frontend experience with React.js.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude and GitHub Copilot responsibly.
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with testing using Jest and React Testing Library or similar frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
