Senior Software Engineer - Backend (Python)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Backend, Python) to deliver complete solutions across the SDLC with limited supervision. You will advise on project issues, guide junior engineers, and design scalable backend systems.

What you'll do

• Deliver end-to-end solutions across the SDLC (design, implementation, testing, delivery, operations).
• Advise immediate management on project-level issues.
• Make technical decisions using internal conventions and industry best practices.
• Design and implement backend solutions in Python.
• Design and develop scalable backend systems.
• Optimize system performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Advanced backend development with Python frameworks including Django or Flask.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful services for scalability and reliability.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and design discussions.
• Strong database design understanding (SQL and NoSQL) with ORM tools.
