Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to help drive and evolve Cyberhaven's SaaS product, building the web management console and the backend APIs behind it.

What you'll do

• Build and evolve a state-of-the-art web management console that sits at the core of the product
• Build complex, dynamic data visualizations that handle large, real-time datasets
• Design, build and extend the backend APIs and services behind UI features, end to end
• Work with the UI/UX design team to improve the user experience
• Partner closely with the Cyberhaven core engineering team on API contracts, data models and performance
• Own features from design through deployment, including testing, monitoring and debugging in production

What you'll need

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, mostly in frontend
• Coding, testing, debugging and automating complex TypeScript applications with React
• Strong knowledge of current frontend libraries, state management and performance optimization
• Hands-on experience building backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs in a language such as Go, Python, Node.js or Java
• Comfortable working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), with understanding of data modeling and query performance
• Enjoys building complex visualizations
• Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms
• Able to design clear, well-structured APIs, not just consume them
• Learns new technologies quickly and enjoys doing it
