Senior Software Engineer (Go, Node.js)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer building and maintaining a browser-based Factory Layout and Discrete Event Simulation application.

What you'll do

• Lead design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of the application.
• Produce clean, effective, secure, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Use AI-driven development tools (Cursor and Claude Code) in day-to-day workflows.
• Apply an event-driven architecture mindset to software design and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project goals and timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues using web debugging techniques.
• Leverage AWS services (S3, OSS, RDS) for scalable and reliable solutions.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and mentor junior engineers.

What you'll need

• 6-8 years of industry experience building and delivering commercial web applications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (including Cursor and Claude Code).
• Proficiency in frontend development (JavaScript/HTML/CSS).
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Proficiency in backend frameworks such as NodeJS and GoLang.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as S3, OSS, and RDS.
