Overview
Senior Software Engineer focused on identity, building and scaling Stytch’s backend capabilities within Twilio.
What you'll do
- Build and own backend product capabilities for Stytch’s identity platform on Twilio.
- Develop backend APIs for authentication, authorization, and agentic/non-human identity use cases.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to translate customer needs into roadmap features.
- Collaborate across teams to align on architecture, integrate capabilities, and unblock initiatives.
- Drive technical ownership by authoring design docs, making decisions, and reviewing code.
- Improve production quality using observability, incident response, and remediation.
- Mentor other engineers via pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
What you'll need
- 6+ years of experience designing, building, and operating high-scale, mission critical cloud production systems.
- Familiarity with a production-grade codebase in a modern programming language and best-practice coding standards.
- Extensive experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related industry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and participate in an on-call rotation on weekends and holidays.
