Overview

The Senior Software Engineer II develops high-quality software and works with cross-functional teams to deliver designs, code, and tests on time while following standards.

What you'll do

• Support engineering teams with detailed research, analysis, and documentation.
• Design, build, and maintain production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems.
• Debug production issues across services and multiple layers of the stack.
• Help improve organizational engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Participate in testing by reviewing and analyzing tests, witnessing tests, and certifying software.
• Evaluate code for validity, structure, standards alignment, and operating system compatibility.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Can work independently on projects and processes with general supervision.
• Practical knowledge of the applicable work area.
• Can adapt to new technologies/processes as required by the business.
• Knowledge of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledge of programming languages and software basics.
• Knowledge of development tools including version control, build processes, debuggers, and test frameworks.
