Senior Software Engineer - Java Developer - Spark

What you'll do

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within a technical domain.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects/programs including upgrades and deployments.
• Review technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet client needs, leveraging function/policy/compliance knowledge.
• Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, providing guidance to less experienced staff.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent via work experience, training, military experience, or education).
• Strong design and development experience using Java and Apache Spark.
• Primary skills include Java, Spark, Iceberg, and SQL.
• Experience creating and maintaining Iceberg tables.
• Adherence to standards, best practices, and alignment with overall architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile process and ability to gather and analyze requirements.
