Senior Software Engineer - Java Full Stack

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for leading Java full-stack initiatives and developing scalable cloud-native applications across the product and application lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document technology projects.
• Develop Java services, RESTful web services, and microservices.
• Build scalable cloud-native solutions using Java, Python, microservices, and Autosys.
• Analyze complex business requirements and write technical specifications.
• Provide coding direction and guidance to junior team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and object-oriented design.
• Experience developing web applications with Angular or React and server-side technologies.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices with Java.
• Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
• Knowledge of JUnit or TestNG, Selenium, and test automation.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps software development practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenShift or PCF cloud technologies.
• Experience with Autosys or similar orchestration tools.
• Working knowledge of object storage and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and high-availability systems.
