Overview
Senior Software Engineer to lead moderately complex initiatives and deliver software solutions across frontend and backend, including Java and React with GenAI/agentic systems.
What you'll do
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document projects including upgrades and deployments.
- Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges through in-depth evaluation.
- Lead projects and serve as an escalation point, providing guidance to less experienced staff.
- Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
- Handle end-to-end product/application development and write technical specifications for module/application design or redesign.
- Develop complex code and provide coding direction to junior team members.
What you'll need
- 4+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent via work, training, military experience, or education).
- Hands-on experience with agentic architectures/frameworks/platforms like LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI Agents (or similar).
- Experience using AI SDLC toolset to expedite development.
- Cloud technology experience such as OpenShift/PCF.
- Web application development experience with UI/frontend and server technologies (Angular/React, Spring framework, JDBC, JavaBeans).
- Experience building RESTful web services and microservices in Java using Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of JUnit/TestNG and Selenium frameworks for test automation.
