Overview

Senior Software Engineer - MS SQL Developer focused on SQL Server development and maintaining/enhancing Microsoft-stack applications.

What you'll do

• Write, optimize, and debug complex T-SQL stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Tune slow queries using execution plans, indexes, and DMVs.
• Design database tables, relationships, and constraints for new modules.
• Perform data migration, cleansing, and bulk operations using SSIS packages.
• Troubleshoot deadlocks, blocking, timeouts, and production performance issues.
• Maintain legacy Classic ASP/VB.NET/VB6 apps and build new features in C# and JavaScript.

What you'll need

• 3+ years hands-on with MS SQL Server 2014+.
• Advanced T-SQL skills including joins, CTEs, window functions, temp tables, dynamic SQL, and error handling.
• Ability to interpret execution plans, create covering indexes, avoid cursors, and reduce scans.
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS including building/modifying packages and paginated reports.
• Comfort with CRUD operations, schema design, constraints, and transactions.
• 3 to 7 years SQL developer experience.
