Overview

Senior Software Engineer focused on platform/application support at Wells Fargo. Lead moderately complex initiatives, provide escalation support, and drive reliability and operational improvements.

What you'll do

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and technology upgrades/deployments.
• Review technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
• Triage alerts, respond to incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain operational knowledge, ensure availability/health/performance using SLO/SLA.
• Handle change requests and coordinate manual deployment steps.
• Partner with Architecture, Infrastructure, and Development teams to improve reliability.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent via work/training/military/education).
• 3+ years of application production support experience.
• 3+ years of cloud technologies experience.
• Knowledge of SRE concepts (3+ years mentioned for knowledge/understanding).
• 3+ years of Agile experience.
• Advanced scripting skills for automation, log rotation, data collection, error collection, and alerting.
• 3+ years of CI/CD automation and configuration experience.

• Job expectations include working additional hours and being on call; flexibility for a 16/7 environment (weekends/holidays).
