Senior Software Engineer - Platforms Team

Overview

Senior Backend Software Engineer for the Platforms team, designing and scaling core backend services and infrastructure for SaaS and on-prem deployments.

What you'll do

• Design and develop storage systems, job scheduling systems, data ingestion frameworks, and monitoring frameworks.
• Build and maintain backend frameworks that support essential platform features.
• Develop scalable, high-performing, reliable services for complex workloads and high-traffic loads.
• Develop and improve monitoring and logging frameworks for system performance and application health visibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across US and India offices.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of full lifecycle software development experience.
• BS in Computer Science or related degree (MS or PhD preferred).
• Deep expertise in Java version 17 or later.
• Hands-on experience with Spring or similar frameworks.
• Strong object-oriented design and development skills.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with REST APIs and frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Big Data and NoSQL experience.
• Networking domain experience.
