Overview

Senior Software Engineer to lead moderately complex initiatives and engineering deliverables in enterprise data and technology domains.

What you'll do

• Lead moderately complex initiatives, deliverables, and projects in the technical domain.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document technology projects including upgrades and deployments.
• Review moderately complex technical challenges and resolve issues through in-depth evaluation.
• Lead projects as an escalation point and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
• Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
• Support reliability, scalability, and high throughput in enterprise data environments.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on engineering experience with Python, Spark, Iceberg, and Hive.
• Strong SQL development and tuning skills.
• Proven experience supporting and optimizing large enterprise-scale data environments.
• Experience monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced environment.
