Senior Solution Engineer

Overview

Senior Solution Engineer (Expansion) for Snowflake, leading technical expansion with enterprise customers and prospects in Malaysia.

What you'll do

• Own the technical expansion strategy for a portfolio of Telco and FSI customers in Malaysia.
• Identify new workloads and use cases to land on Snowflake across lines of business.
• Partner with Account Executives to drive adoption, workload expansion, and multi-line-of-business growth.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover pain points, constraints, and opportunities.
• Craft and present target-state architectures, reference patterns, and roadmaps.
• Design demos and lead POCs/pilots from demo to proof of concept through implementation.
• Advise on data modeling, performance optimization, cost governance, security, and operations on Snowflake.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role in data/analytics or cloud.
• Hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms, data warehousing, or big data technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python).
• Proven ability to design and communicate architectures for data integration, warehousing, BI/analytics, and data science/ML.
• Industry experience or strong exposure in FSI and/or Telco.
• Demonstrated success driving technical win and expansion in enterprise accounts (ideally subscription or consumption-based).

• Work with Malaysia customers and prospects across Telco and Financial Services (FSI).
