Senior Solution Engineer, Partnerships - Brazil

Overview

Senior Solutions Engineer for Snowflake's Systems Integrator (SI) partners in Brazil, helping partners build and sell Snowflake-based solutions and shaping the strategy to build mindshare with SI partners.

What you'll do

• Help Solution Providers/Practice Leads with the technical strategies that enable them to sell their offerings on Snowflake.
• Quickly grasp new concepts and business value messaging, with forward strategic thinking.
• Understand how SIs make revenue through the industry priorities and complexities they face, and influence where Snowflake products can have the most impact for their product services.
• Help develop and launch joint differentiated solution offerings with SI partners.
• Collaborate with partners to develop Snowflake solutions in customer engagements, creating assets and demos, building hands-on POCs and pitching Snowflake solutions.
• Provide technical product and deep architectural expertise and the latest product capabilities with the Partner Solution Architect community.
• Have conversations with other technologists and provide presentations at the C-level.
• Help shape and deliver a strategy to build mindshare with Snowflake's SI partners, including relationship management, program execution, goal-setting, and tracking progress.

What you'll need

• Proven track record of working with large SI partners.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of the broader platform ecosystem, products, and competition, to be a trusted advisor.
• Production level hands-on expertise in developing and deploying PySpark or Scala and SQL to build ELT/data pipelines into production environments, staying current with the latest Spark updates and best practices.
• Hands-on experience designing and building highly scalable data pipelines using Spark and Kafka to ingest data from various systems.
• Experience with integration platforms such as Matillion, FiveTran, Informatica, dbtCloud, etc.
• Experience with database technologies.
• Hands-on technical experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes and tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Google Cloud Build.
• Strong experience with major cloud platforms and tooling, especially Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience using Big Data or Cloud integration technologies such as Matillion, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, etc.
• 5+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale systems in production.
• Strong CS fundamentals, including proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and product managers.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML use cases.
• Prior experience in Developer Platform, Developer Experience, or Developer Productivity.
• Fluency in multiple programming languages.
• Knowledge of database internals.

• Up to 25% travel within Brazil for partner engagement, enablement, deal support, and marketing events.
