Senior Solutions Architect

Overview

Senior Solutions Architect for GitLab’s India team, acting as a trusted advisor to prospects, customers, and partners across India.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation of GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
• Own technical evaluation activities including solution design, proofs of concept/value, workshops, and tender/audit technical contributions.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape account strategies for Commercial and Enterprise segments.
• Support regional go-to-market partners providing Professional Services with technical guidance during partner-led engagements.
• Represent GitLab at online and in-person marketing events (e.g., webinars, industry events, roundtables, panels, hackathons).
• Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices.

What you'll need

• Experience guiding Commercial and Enterprise customers through solution design and evaluation in technical presales/consulting.
• Experience working with India’s GCCs, Digital Native organizations, and startups.
• Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control and CI/CD collaboration platforms.
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts including deployment, security, and operations options.
• Ability to lead proofs of concept/value and run workshops or value stream assessments.
• Clear technical communication and presentation skills for practitioners and business/technical decision-makers.
