Overview

Senior Solutions Engineer on the Solutions Engineering team, the customer-facing product experts who educate potential and existing customers and partner with Sales to qualify and close opportunities for Grafana Labs.

What you'll do

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate the overall Grafana value proposition, vision and strategy to customers
• Own the technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill and credibility
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers
• Effectively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape
• Drive product conversations based on customer need and problems
• Work with the team to enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles and create other public or private enablement material

What you'll need

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience
• Openness to various and complex assignments, with strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership
• First class written and oral communication skills to collaborate with remote-first internal teams and worldwide customers
• Ability to skillfully articulate the Grafana value proposition and the technical advantages of its products
• Love for solving technical challenges and bringing creative solutions to customers
• A technical mindset and a desire to grow technically
• Must be located in United Kingdom

Nice to have

• Experience with open source technologies, or in the metrics/monitoring space
• Experience with sales methodologies like MEDD(P)ICC

Details

• Location: United Kingdom (Remote)
• 100% remote role
• Compensation: OTE of EUR 110,000 - EUR 134,000 in the UK, plus Restricted Stock Units (RSUs); actual compensation may vary by level, experience and skillset
• In-person onboarding provided
• Global annual leave of 30 days per annum, including 3 days reserved for Grafana Shutdown Days
