Senior Staff Engineer - Project Engineer Linux IOT Projects

Overview

Senior Staff Engineer to lead IoT platform delivery across multiple projects end-to-end, from software conceptualization for new chipsets through product commercialization.

What you'll do

• Lead multiple IoT projects simultaneously across Qualcomm chipsets.
• Own end-to-end project life cycles from conceptualization to commercialization.
• Deliver hands-on embedded systems platform leadership.
• Design, implement, and contribute to the end-to-end software stack.
• Work with Project Engineers, Technology Leads, and product/business teams.
• Troubleshoot software and system issues during development and support.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of software engineering (or 7+ years with a Master’s; or 6+ years with a PhD).
• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong development experience with C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with embedded operating environments including Android/Linux/Windows.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and analytics skills.
