Overview
Senior Staff IAM Software Engineer for ServiceNow’s Security Organization, Identity Platform Engineering team.
What you'll do
- Participate in technical aspects of deliverables including quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Lead end-to-end CI/CD pipeline development using GitLab, GitLab Runners, Jenkins, and Nexus.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
- Own integrations across Identity Platforms and ServiceNow, including APIs, connectors, provisioning workflows, and lifecycle automation.
- Contribute full stack development for backend services and user-facing IAM workflows.
- Mentor and guide 4–5 junior to mid-level engineers.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years as a senior staff (or equivalent education/experience).
- Strong IAM domain experience including Identity Lifecycle, RBAC/ABAC, Access Certifications, and Privileged Access Management.
- Full stack depth with backend proficiency in Java or Python and MySQL or PostgreSQL plus knowledge of frontend technologies.
- Hands-on CI/CD and DevOps experience using GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, JFrog (or equivalent).
- Proficiency with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and/or Puppet.
- Ability to perform identity data analytics, including designing queries, building pipelines, and deriving insights.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Location: Bangor, MAINE, United States.
