Senior Staff, Technical Program Manager

Overview

Technical Program Manager role working with business and engineering teams to define requirements, analyze data and systems, and drive engineering delivery through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Work closely with multiple business and engineering teams to define, streamline, design and analyze data to build business requirements.
• Articulate requirements to engineering teams and perform functional and technical data and system analysis.
• Drive engineering to implementation across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Analyze functional and technical designs of common and shared platforms, web, and services APIs with underlying data.
• Identify new platform scenarios that solve larger systems problems by simplifying services and the cloud platform, increasing productivity and efficiency for every engineer and system in the company.
• Own, manage and deliver multiple large-scale, complex programs across organizations.
• Own and manage implementation end to end, from project charter, roadmap, plan and design through build, execution, delivery and monitoring of performance and adoption.
• Create, evolve and communicate specifications for feature areas that enable cohesive, compatible and iterable scenarios spanning multiple feature teams and a durable multi-year vision.
• Come up with scenarios and business requirements by analyzing data and business needs.
• Identify, propose and implement an ongoing data strategy and drive data quality improvements.
• Establish, enable and improve systems to manage product feedback from customers and resolve issues.

What you'll need

• Minimum of 12 years of engineering program management experience managing feature teams and designing large-scale or complex technical initiatives on shared platforms for web and web services, APIs, and data analytics.
• Minimum of 5 years in platform, web design and APIs used by internal and external teams.
• Strong functional and technical analytical and design capability.
• Solid platform, web services and API technologies experience.
• Strong blend of technical, business and program management experience enabling seamless communication across teams, project execution and customer reach.
• Excellent cross-group collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Strong cultural change management experience.
• Flexible, agile and fast learner.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrated virtual team leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge or experience with agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum).
