Senior Test Engineer - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

Overview

Senior AppSec Security Test Engineer role focused on application, API, and third-party library security testing to find and mitigate vulnerabilities.

What you'll do

• Perform manual and automated security testing on web, mobile, and APIs.
• Conduct vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) on applications.
• Identify, analyze, and document vulnerabilities including OWASP Top 10 risks.
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate security issues and implement fixes.
• Perform secure code reviews and recommend security best practices.
• Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments.

What you'll need

• 3+ years experience.
• Strong knowledge of application security concepts and standards (OWASP, SANS).
• Experience with Kali Linux and application & API penetration testing using Burp Suite.
• Knowledge of OWASP guidelines and security best practices, including CVE management and vulnerability remediation.
• Knowledge of AI-powered security solutions (e.g., automated code reviews, vulnerability scanning, threat modeling).
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and session management.
• Experience with API security testing.
