Senior Value Engineer - Technology Consultant

Overview

As a Senior Value Engineer - Technology Consultant, you partner with enterprise clients to drive measurable business value using the Celonis Process Intelligence platform, from pre-sales through post-sale value realization.

What you'll do

• Drive the full customer lifecycle with end-to-end responsibility for the value journey.
• Lead technical discovery and capability demonstrations during pre-sales expansion cycles.
• Guide implementation to meet agreed value and adoption thresholds post-sale.
• Own enterprise-wide ROI and adoption programs, including QBRs, executive sponsorship, and value plans.
• Analyze customer data and translate requirements into tactical Celonis solutions.
• Serve as technical subject matter expert for your customer industry domain.
• Plan and manage project scope, expectations, and timelines across multiple accounts.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in pre-sales, customer success, and/or consulting functions.
• Strong technical skills across Microsoft or competitor equivalent (e.g., AWS).
• Certification in relevant technologies such as Azure and/or related areas (e.g., data engineering).
• Knowledge of Data Connections, Data Objects, Data Validation, and Data Analysis.
• Knowledge and use of LLMs across Microsoft or competitor equivalents (e.g., Claude, Copilot).
• Understanding of basic prompting and data constructs within a prompt.
• Bachelor’s degree required (computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields; or equivalent work experience preferred).

Nice to have

• Understanding of business processes across sectors (e.g., Supply Chain or Finance) and mapping needs to AI use cases.
• Good knowledge of Python and ML libraries such as LangChain, pandas, sklearn, and PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience building agentic systems using LLM orchestration, RAG, function calling, and prompt engineering with evaluations and guardrails.
