Senior Applied AI Engineer - Technology Consultant

Overview

Lead Applied Value Engineer role working with enterprise customers to drive adoption and measurable business value using the Celonis Process Intelligence platform, including AI/LLM and agentic solutions.

What you'll do

• Drive the full customer value lifecycle pre-sales through post-sale execution.
• Lead technical discovery and capability demonstrations during pre-sales expansion cycles.
• Guide implementation to meet agreed value and adoption thresholds.
• Own enterprise-wide ROI and adoption programs, using QBRs and strategic roadmaps.
• Translate customer AI challenges and requirements into solutions delivering measurable impact.
• Manage weekly cadences, QBRs, and value plans with VP+ level executives.
• Plan and manage project scope, expectations, and timelines across multiple accounts.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in pre-sales, customer success, and/or consulting functions.
• Strong technical skills with Microsoft or competitor equivalent (e.g., AWS) certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, data engineering).
• Knowledge of data connections, data objects, data validation, and data analysis.
• Knowledge and use of LLMs across Microsoft or competitor equivalent (e.g., Claude, Copilot).
• Understanding of basic prompting and data constructs within a prompt.
• Bachelor’s degree required (computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields) or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong presentation skills for technical whiteboarding and formal readouts/demos.

• Base salary range (New York, full-time): $140,000–$160,000 USD.
