Overview
Lead Deployment Architect serves as the most senior technical authority within delivery, shaping how Celonis solutions are architected and delivered across strategic customer engagements.
What you'll do
- Define architectural standards and end-to-end solution strategies for complex enterprise deployments.
- Design technical blueprints for Celonis platform integration with customer systems, data strategies, and transformation goals.
- Make architecture trade-off decisions (build vs configure, custom vs standard, phased vs big-bang) tied to customer outcomes.
- Own solution quality and outcome delivery by conducting design reviews and ensuring architectural standards are followed.
- Design AI deployment agent workflows (Apollo) for complex, multi-workstream engagements with validation checkpoints and quality gates.
- Serve as senior technical advisor to strategic customers, translating business challenges into platform strategies and success metrics.
What you'll need
- 8+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, or delivery leadership in enterprise software/consulting/system integrators.
- At least 3 years in a senior or lead technical role with multi-stakeholder responsibility in large-scale projects.
- Ability to design complex, multi-component solutions spanning data integration, process intelligence, automation, and AI.
- Expert-level Celonis platform knowledge including the Process Intelligence Graph, data modeling, advanced PQL, automation/orchestration engine, and AI modules.
- Working knowledge of Python and ability to push the platform’s boundaries.
- Demonstrated ability to design AI-augmented delivery workflows, including context engineering/multi-agent design or AI validation at scale.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management, Business Informatics, or comparable field.

- Base salary range (New York, full-time): $162,000–$191,000 USD.
- Full Time schedule.
