Service - Field Service Engineer (FSE) – MRI – South UK (Oxford, Berkshire or Surrey)

Overview

Field Service Engineer responsible for repair and maintenance of MR modality equipment in the South UK area (ideally Oxford, Berkshire or Surrey and surrounding counties), building strong customer relationships and equipment functionality.

What you'll do

• Maintain all models specific to the MR modality in the assigned area.
• Perform total system level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems.
• Communicate clearly with customers and department managers on equipment status and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Assist in Account Sales visits, help train others where necessary, and identify and communicate Sales opportunities to the accounts team.
• Assist in the growth and direction of business in the geographic area.
• Be responsible for Warranty and PMS contract cost control.
• Complete all administration tasks on time, including timely completion of FMI and PMS inspection documentation for assigned accounts.
• Play a leading role in complex and multifunctional rooms.
• Share best practices.
• Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with the ISO 9001 standard, according to the GE Service Quality Policy Statement.

What you'll need

• Qualified Technician/Engineer or equivalent professional experience in medical devices, with relevant Field Service experience.
• Technical analytical skills.
• Planning and organizing work effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, high work standards and quality, showing initiative and motivation.
• Customer-oriented attitude; deals tactfully and effectively with differences of opinion, with excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Valid driving license and active driving experience.
