ServiceNow Principal Engineer

Overview

ServiceNow Principal Engineer (Corporate Title: Director) for end-to-end ServiceNow implementation and delivery leadership in a global banking environment.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow solutions from requirements to deployment and hypercare.
• Shape and support the ServiceNow platform architecture roadmap and align it with enterprise strategy.
• Oversee platform design standards and support solution design reviews (data models and integration approaches).
• Coordinate integration design across systems for secure, scalable, connected workflows.
• Drive hands-on configuration, development, and integration across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CMDB, ITOM).
• Own/govern solution delivery quality and support performance, security, and operational continuity requirements.
• Mentor engineering teams and troubleshoot complex technical issues during implementation and post-go-live.

What you'll need

• Proven experience delivering ServiceNow implementations in large, complex environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, integrations).
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow development, configuration, and scripting.
• Experience implementing integrations using REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, CMDB/CSDM, and platform design principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead delivery while remaining hands-on technically.
