Services Engineer - Maintenance

Overview

The Service Engineer - Maintenance will direct and oversee scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and heavy maintenance activities for locomotives, ensuring timelines, cost, quality, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, heavy maintenance, and wreck repair are completed within timelines, cost, quality, and required documentation.
• Oversee adherence to work scopes.
• Encourage and maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and local customer safety policies in the work area.

What you'll need

• BE/B.Tech in Engineering or Diploma applicable technical training.
• 7-12 years of applicable operations experience in locomotive maintenance and/or transportation/rolling stock equipment.
• Ability to work in 24x7 operations with different shifts and various days.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a shop environment.
• Prior experience in the transportation industry.
