Overview

Services Specialist - Customer Support Engineer focused on post-sales customer lifecycle support with a digital focus.

What you'll do

• Research and troubleshoot issues in GE Digital solutions across configuration, UI, networking, connectivity, and performance.
• Support interoperability between cloud and on-prem components and troubleshoot related issues.
• Work with data collection/storage, visualization, analytics, and machine monitoring software and control systems.
• Resolve issues using established procedures and consults senior members for out-of-parameter issues.
• Serve as an interface between customers and GE for customer-facing roles, exchanging technical information and ensuring understanding.

What you'll need

• Basic experience in Services & Customer Support Engineering (stated for roles outside the USA).
• Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Required educational background includes BTech/BE or equivalent (as stated).
• Basic understanding of IT/cybersecurity/LAN-WAN concepts.

Nice to have

• Preferred: configuration skill set on IT network systems.
• Preferred: basic understanding of WAMS systems.
