Overview
SharePoint Online and OneDrive L2 Operational Support Analyst supporting employees and business customers by resolving SharePoint/OneDrive incidents and service requests.
What you'll do
- Act as the primary L2 escalation point for SharePoint Online and OneDrive tickets not resolved by L1.
- Triage, investigate, and troubleshoot incidents and service requests for SharePoint Online sites and OneDrive issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement or recommend permanent fixes for recurring or complex issues.
- Manage SharePoint Online permissions, access requests, sharing settings, and site collection administration.
- Monitor service health dashboards and respond to SharePoint Online and OneDrive degradations or outages.
- Escalate unresolved issues to L3/engineering or Microsoft support with troubleshooting documentation.
What you'll need
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in SharePoint Online and OneDrive operational or technical support.
- Hands-on administration experience for SharePoint Online via SharePoint Admin Center.
- Working knowledge of OneDrive for Business administration (sync troubleshooting, sharing/permissions, storage quotas, known folder move).
- PowerShell scripting proficiency (including PnP PowerShell and SharePoint Online Management Shell).
- Experience working in an ITSM/ticketing platform with SLA management and escalation workflows.
- Familiarity with security/compliance features such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and retention policies.
- Understanding of identity and access concepts (Azure AD/Entra ID, conditional access, permissions inheritance).
