Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Site Reliability Engineer responsible for ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of a cloud-based infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Drive incident response processes and troubleshoot complex issues to resolve outages.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices using tools like Datadog and Site24x7.
• Build reliability tooling and automated remediation for system issues.
• Participate in an always-on on-call rotation (365x24x7).
• Create and maintain infrastructure and incident management documentation (SOPs).
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Adhere to security best practices and implement measures to protect infrastructure and data.

What you'll need

• 2-3 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, EKS, ECS, CloudFormation).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, CDK, Shell scripting).
• Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and AWX Tower for Ansible automation.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK, Grafana, Site24x7).
• Ability to work in shifts (24x7) and strong communication skills.
