Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Maintain the reliability, performance, and operational readiness of Thales PAY Digital cloud services. The role covers production operations, automation, observability, incident management, and release support.

What you'll do

• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of cloud services against customer SLAs and SLOs.
• Respond to production incidents and coordinate troubleshooting and recovery.
• Lead post-incident analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation solutions.
• Support cloud deployments across AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability for metrics, logs, and traces.
• Assess operational risks and support change, release, and rollback planning.

What you'll need

• Experience in systems, networking, and security operations.
• Production experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using GitLab CI and Terraform.
• Proficiency in Linux, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of observability tools including Datadog and Splunk.
• Scripting skills in Shell and/or Python.
• Knowledge of SRE principles, Agile, DevOps, service delivery, and production support.
