Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Site Reliability Engineer to build and scale observability solutions across AWS and data platforms, and embed reliability into the software delivery lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with business units, developers, and platform engineers to embed observability into the delivery lifecycle.
• Define and implement SLIs/SLOs and error budgets with business units to improve service health visibility.
• Design and implement monitoring/observability solutions using Dynatrace and Splunk (plus Dynatrace/Splunk, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry).
• Build and maintain dashboards for system performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Integrate observability into CI/CD workflows using Jenkins for continuous feedback and faster incident detection.
• Automate provisioning and deployment for observability using Terraform and Ansible.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in production support and building scalable, automated, developer-friendly observability platforms.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on monitoring/observability experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, and Datadog.
• Experience developing dashboards using logs, metrics, and traces.
• Hands-on experience using Apache Spark for batch data processing.
• Familiarity with AWS services including Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, AWS Batch, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with structured and semi-structured data formats including Parquet and JSON.
