SME-Fixed Assets Accounting & Reporting.

Overview

SME-Fixed Assets Accounting & Reporting role in ABB’s General Accounting (GA) team, reporting to the Accounting & Reporting Manager (GA).

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end fixed assets accounting and reporting activities.
• Run fixed asset operations including capitalization, transfers, retirements, disposals, and depreciation.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end fixed asset close activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Handle asset lifecycle management from acquisition through disposal.
• Resolve fixed asset record discrepancies and maintain master data accuracy.
• Drive process improvements and automation for fixed asset workflows.

What you'll need

• 10 to 12 years’ experience in Fixed Assets Accounting and Record to Report GA.
• Strong knowledge of fixed assets accounting, PP&E, depreciation, and capitalization.
• Experience with IFRS, US GAAP, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of ERP systems including SAP and the FA module.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• A master’s degree in accounting, finance, or commerce (MBA/Mcom) is required.
