Overview

SOC Design – Sr Lead at Qualcomm India is a hardware engineering role focused on planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems and related subsystems.

What you'll do

• Plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems including circuits and Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems.
• Integrate features and functionality into hardware designs based on proposals or roadmaps.
• Run complex simulations and analyses and implement designs to meet power, performance, and area goals.
• Collaborate across design, verification, validation, software, and systems engineering teams to incorporate test solutions.
• Evaluate, characterize, and develop manufacturing solutions and support yield, test time, and quality improvements.
• Assess reliability and identify potential flaws, compatibility issues, and compliance issues.
• Write detailed technical documentation for hardware projects.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree (or related field) with 3+ years of hardware engineering or related experience.
• Or Master’s degree (or related field) with 2+ years of hardware engineering or related experience.
• Or PhD (or related field) with 1+ year of hardware engineering or related experience.
• Experience planning and testing electronic systems across circuits and Digital/Analog/RF/optical.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to provide supervision/guidance to other team members.
