SOC Implementation Engineer, Lead

Overview

Hardware engineering role at Qualcomm focused on the design implementation of electronic systems, including RTL synthesis, DFT insertion, timing constraints, low-power checks, logic equivalency checks and static timing analysis closure for cutting-edge products.

What you'll do

• Run RTL synthesis to achieve the best Performance/Power/Area of the designs.
• Insert DFT features including MBIST and SCAN, set up timing constraints for functional and test modes, and perform validation.
• Run static low-power checks on gate level netlists.
• Verify logic equivalency checks between RTL to gates and gates to gates.
• Set up signoff static timing analysis and ECO flows and achieve timing closure working with the Design/DFT/PD teams.
• Perform timing analysis with STA tools.
• Debug and sanity check constraints.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience, OR
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience, OR
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
