Overview

Build and operate services that power recurring loyalty subscriptions for global travel partners, owning features end to end from proposal to production within the Subscription product.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate reliable services that let members sign up for, manage, and renew subscriptions that deliver loyalty currency and partner perks.
• Work across enrollment, lifecycle management, recurring billing and renewals, rate changes, and notifications with product and the architecture group.
• Help evolve Python/Flask services and the React frontend, improve observability, test new features, and support the domain in production.
• Create and use AI-assisted workflows across the SDLC, including tools such as Claude.
• Contribute to technical proposals that decide what gets built for the 2027 growth goals.

What you'll need

• Ability to build maintainable backend systems and robust APIs with clean code and strong computer science fundamentals.
• Ability to reason about complex stateful workflows, data models, and recurring billing logic.
• Ability to build, update, and maintain user-facing frontend pages.
• High standard for software quality using unit and integration testing, static analysis, and CI/CD feedback loops.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, including architecture and trade-offs, to product, design, partner teams, and fellow developers.
• Practical understanding of, or strong interest in, subscription products, SaaS business models, recurring billing, payment integrations, stored payment methods, asynchronous callbacks, and secure handling of payment data.

Nice to have

• Use of AI thoughtfully to create repeatable practices that increase delivery speed while preserving code quality, test coverage, and system reliability.
