Software Development Engineer III

Overview

Software Development Engineer III role focused on designing, building, and operating highly available, secure services and APIs across cloud infrastructure domains.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and evolve services and APIs using low-level design, API design, and data modeling.
• Own end-to-end implementation for medium-to-large features from design and coding through testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational support.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and peer engineering teams to define technical approaches and deliver scalable solutions.
• Improve code quality, reliability, and engineering efficiency via coding standards, automated testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve outcomes.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues using logs, metrics, and tracing to implement resilient fixes.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent related professional experience).
• Production software development experience building and operating applications/services in at least one modern programming language and frameworks.
• Proven end-to-end ownership across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing operational support.
• Experience with system design (including low-level design), API design, and data modeling for scalable, secure systems in service-oriented or microservices environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled solutions, including safely integrating and operating AI/ML concepts in real-world products.
