Software Development Engineer in Test

Overview

Software Development Engineer in Test responsible for owning quality across order-related customer services and internal API/CRM reliability.

What you'll do

• Own quality across services spanning the order lifecycle, including delivery calculations, cancellations, returns, and order page updates.
• Test customer support chat, buyer-seller communications, real-time order history, and offer tracking functionality.
• Ensure reliability of RBAC-enabled internal APIs and CRM integrations.
• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing, including end-to-end, database, and web services testing.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases within existing frameworks (preferably using AI).
• Identify gaps, propose solutions, and present work in team and org-level forums.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of object-oriented programming experience with languages/tech including Golang, Node, TypeScript/JS, Java, RDBMS, and REST APIs.
• 3+ years developing and maintaining backend-focused test automation for backend (predominantly), web, and mobile.
• Ability to perform written and verbal communication and presentation.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum QA environment.
• Mentoring experience for junior team members.
