Software Engineer I

Overview

Software Engineer 1 for UiPath’s Data Fabric platform team, building distributed data infrastructure for integration, processing, governance, and security at scale.

What you'll do

• Build robust, scalable, high-performance systems.
• Create and deliver maintainable, high-quality software following best practices.
• Enhance customer experience through impactful solutions.
• Contribute to AI-driven systems and intelligent agents for automation and user interfaces.
• Stay current with emerging trends in AI and intelligent agent technologies.
• Collaborate in agile teams and support team alignment.
• Communicate technical ideas and design decisions to diverse audiences.

What you'll need

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a software developer (internships and project work count).
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.
• Experience using AI models or APIs to build real software.
• Comfort working with APIs, backend services, and cloud infrastructure.
• Curiosity about how AI is reshaping software development and user experiences.
