Overview

Software Engineer for Netflix’s Audience Activation team, building Conversion APIs and Audience Onboarding systems.

What you'll do

• Design and develop Conversion APIs and Audience Onboarding systems.
• Build high-volume, low-latency services for near-real-time ingestion of consented engagement events.
• Ingest events using server-to-server streaming, pixel requests, and batch uploads.
• Enable Audience Onboarding & Activation, Measurement, Optimization, Retargeting, and Reporting capabilities through these systems.
• Process conversion events to produce identity- and attribution-enriched, deduplicated “gold” datasets for downstream services.

What you'll need

• Proven track record solving highly complex, ambiguous, business-critical technical problems with cross-organization collaboration.
• Demonstrated experience building server-to-server, batch, and pixel Conversion APIs.
• Expertise leveraging conversion events for derivative services like retargeting and outcome-based optimization.
• Practical experience with streaming event architectures and related technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink).
• Strong understanding of ad tech, programmatic advertising, digital marketing trends, and privacy/consent/legal compliance.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
