Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer (Full Stack) to design, build, and operate scalable, healthcare applications in a backend-first setup (~70% backend / 30% frontend).

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices with REST APIs.
• Define API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger with consistent error handling and versioning.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka (or equivalent).
• Build data access layers using JPA/Hibernate with Oracle/Postgres.
• Develop UI components using React.js and TypeScript and integrate end-to-end flows (UI → API → DB → events).
• Operate production-grade reliability, including transaction safety, idempotency, and error recovery.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of software development experience in product/enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Java (17+) and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• React.js + TypeScript experience (at least 1–2 years).
• SQL and relational databases (Oracle/Postgres) and ORM tools (Hibernate/JPA).
• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka or similar) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to use AI coding assistants in the development workflow and review/production-harden AI-generated code.
