Software Engineer - Android Kotlin Automation

Overview

Automation Developer for automotive infotainment and navigation systems, building and maintaining Android/AAOS test automation frameworks.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test tools for Android/AAOS-based systems.
• Develop and enhance automation scripts using Kotlin/Java and Python.
• Automate functional, integration, and regression test scenarios.
• Integrate automated test execution with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and quality gaps.
• Maintain and improve test infrastructure and automation coverage.
• Debug issues using Android debugging tools, logs, and system traces.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of experience in software development and test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java for programming and scripting.
• Hands-on Python scripting experience.
• Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or Android-based systems.
• Familiarity with Android debugging tools including ADB, Android Studio, Logcat, and Gradle.
• Strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals and test case design techniques.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of GitHub and Jenkins.

Details

• Expected to work all 5 days in a week in office.
