Overview

Software Engineer for Speechify’s AI Data team, owning data collection to support model training and dataset building.

What you'll do

• Find new sources of audio data and bring them into the ingestion pipeline.
• Operate and extend cloud infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline on GCP.
• Use Terraform to manage infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline.
• Collaborate with scientists to improve cost, throughput, and data quality.
• Help craft the AI team’s dataset roadmap for next-generation products.

What you'll need

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency in bash or Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Proficiency with Docker.
• Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP mentioned).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
