Overview
Software Engineer role in Corpay’s Alpha division, focused on designing, developing, and enhancing cloud-native applications, backend services, and event-driven systems for eMoney and FX platforms.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-native applications and backend services.
- Develop solutions using C# and .NET with AWS and serverless technologies.
- Build event-driven applications and distributed systems using asynchronous messaging patterns.
- Create RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations for business capabilities.
- Automate business processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle through testing, deployment, and production support.
- Handle production troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and contribute to improvements.
What you'll need
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience designing and developing backend systems and cloud-native applications.
- Experience developing applications using C# and modern .NET.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS and serverless technologies.
- Good understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Amazon EventBridge, Amazon SQS/SNS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code with AWS CloudFormation.
