Software Engineer - ENDUR

Overview

Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting OpenLink Endur solutions for Shell's North America Crude and Products business. The role works with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party suppliers across projects and enhancements.

What you'll do

• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Design scalable and sustainable solutions for a global business.
• Support requirements, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and production support.
• Pilot and prototype new solutions and technologies.
• Deliver defect fixes, enhancements, and special projects through the software development lifecycle.
• Support testing, releases, deployments, patches, and post-deployment validation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party suppliers.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–7 years of corporate IT experience focused on ETRM or CTRM.
• Functional and technical experience with OpenLink Endur version 11 or later.
• Energy or commodity trading and risk management domain experience.
• Endur development experience using JVS or OpenComponents.
• Experience with Java, .NET, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and Informatica.
• Experience supporting application testing, change management, patch management, and end-user support.
