Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer – Automation responsible for developing and executing manual and automated tests for cloud-native SaaS services across UI, API, and backend workflows.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain manual and automated UI and API tests.
• Test new features, bug fixes, and regression scenarios.
• Build reusable automation utilities, infrastructure, and internal frameworks.
• Execute test suites across development, QA, and production environments.
• Analyze failures and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Integrate automation into Jenkins pipelines and cloud-based build systems.
• Maintain test data, environment configurations, and test documentation.

What you'll need

• Experience with manual testing and automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Understanding of UI and API testing principles.
• REST API validation experience using Postman, Python requests, Pytest, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments, preferably Jenkins.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and Kubernetes concepts.
• Ability to write maintainable test code in Python, JavaScript, or equivalent.
• Experience testing SaaS applications and collaborating across time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-driven automation, prompt-driven validation, or agent-based workflows.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure or Kubernetes-based applications.
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, or JMeter.
• Understanding of Git workflows and Agile practices.
