Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Overview

Join the core development team to design and build web-scale distributed systems, including the Cohesity Data Platform and SpanFS filesystem.

What you'll do

• Design massively distributed systems at web scale.
• Build the core backend of the Cohesity Data Platform.
• Build the Cohesity SpanFS filesystem.
• Debug, diagnose, and fix complex production software.
• Drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects.
• Work in an agile development environment.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of infrastructure or back-end development experience.
• BE/BTech degree in Computer Science.
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience with large-scale engineering challenges and highly available distributed systems.
• Understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and parallel processing.
• Programming and debugging skills in C, C++, Golang, or Java.
• Ability to solve complex problems and communicate effectively.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Familiarity with distributed storage, filesystems, or object storage.

• Office role; employees within a reasonable commute work from core offices 2–3 days a week.
