Software Engineer for Mist Wired Assurance & Mist Edge solution

Overview

Software Engineer role focused on Mist Wired Assurance and Mist Edge solutions, working primarily from an HPE office (Onsite).

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native software and microservices.
• Build and enhance REST APIs and backend services for high-performance applications.
• Work with distributed data stores and messaging technologies for reliable, scalable solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design through maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver product features.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance.

What you'll need

• 6 years of experience working in cloud platforms, cloud services, or product-based technology companies.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language: Python, Go, or C++.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying microservices-based applications.
• Experience working with data stores, serialization technologies, and distributed systems.
• Good understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD-based software development practices.
